Hi! My name is Addie! I am 12 years old and I live in Colorado. Some things that I love to do in my free time is swim, bake, and craft. Two of my favorite places to be are the pool and in the mountains. Another thing that I love doing is paddle boarding. I have 2 brothers, a twin and an older brother. I also have a golden retriever named Jake. Skiing is something that I love to do in the winter.

I was diagnosed with scoliosis in 3rd grade and braced in 4th grade. I was not happy when I got my first brace. It was so uncomfortable and I didn't know anyone else going through it. I had to wear it to school most days and I did not want anyone to know. Once I had worn it for a few months, I found better ways to hide it and I was comfortable telling some of my friends.

I want to be a leader because I want  to help girls going through the same thing. I will get to meet new people and interact with other girls that have scoliosis.
