Nevada

My name is Kyla. I am 11 years old, and I am in 6th grade. I will be turning 12 in June. I live in Sparks, Nevada, near Reno. Some of my hobbies are reading, riding my bike, doing arts & crafts, and playing with friends and my pets. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have a female dog named Kona. She is a Shepard mix. We have a younger dog, too, who is close to turning 1 year old. His name is Bandit. He is a Border Collie Australian mix. I have 1 silly cat whose name is Nutmeg. He and his brother, Clayton, (the sweet one) are both orange tabbies. All our pets are rescue animals. The books called “Warriors” interest me. They are about 4 clans of cats that hunt and fight to defend their territory against other clans. I have read nearly all the books.  

I was diagnosed with scoliosis when I was 8 years old with a 37-degree curve. Thanks to my WCR brace and Schroth therapy, I am now down to a 17-degree curve. I am in a magnet program in my middle school, and I want to be an orthotist when I grow up.
